Jim lays out his fiery case , showing intent, and asks two simple questions on 1) the FBI dossier payment and 2) taking it to FISA for the warrant.

Jim closes asking what do you have to have in order to prove the need for a second Special Prosecutor.

Every Rat @sshole on the committee is using their time to lie about Trump being a sexual predator and demanding that he be investigated. It’s absolutely stomach-turning disgusting!!!

These Rat @ssholes know the Russian collusion farce is dead, they’re on to their next vicious and despicable line of attack.

The question I haven’t seen is this - why did Rosenstein so quickly, in less than 24 hours of obtaining the authority, appoint the Mueller special counsel, at the request of a few obscure Democrats, but he has still refused to appoint one to investigate the FBI, despite the repeated calls from his oversight committee, as there is much more evidence of crimes that need to be independently investigated?

Gowdy hitting on this hard now, independent counsels should be created simply out of the need for removing conflicts of interest, and on this count Mueller’s team is doubly guilty.

Gowdy just repeating the news. Letting Rosenstein totally off the hook.

But Jordan didn’t actually insist that Rosenstein give (or more likely avoid giving) answers to his questions about Steele and the FISA Court Application.

Very odd. But I forgive Jordan, who was otherwise BRILLIANT.

This open hearing business is always an influence operation, for both sides.

R’s are trying to expand support for a second SP.
D’s are trying to lynch Trump.

These dem committee members are a piece of work. Needing an investigation on viciously stupid and R rated.

Rosenstein has already shown he’s not going to answer any questions, so these long statements by Republicans are just to barbecue him on the record, and let him know they are hot on his tail, and the conservative press is not being fooled in the least.

Gowdy was useless. A long filibustering speech while Rosenstein bounced along in his chair listening.

I noticed that. Odd.

I think Jordan may be satisfied with the job the Inspector General is doing, and is willing to wait on his final report, given the texts were provided to Congress by the IG, and tothe public as well as the other incriminating evidence resulting in fingering Rhee, Ohr, Strzok, Weinstein, etc.

Yes, very disappointed with Gowdy.

Raul Labrador from Idaho is doing a good job so far.

Rosenstein is a worthless weasel who thinks Mueller is just WONDERFUL, a man of great integrity, BARF!!!

Rosentein is trying to tap dance around the fake dossier questions. What a slimebag.

Labador asking the right questions. Rosenstein just stated his supposed purpose for appointing Mueller - “to inspire public confidence” which isn’t strong enough justification per the law. Labador also asked why isn’t there an investigation into how the DOJ was used to influence the election, a recurring theme that isn’t going away anytime soon.

Gowdy did a fantastic job of exposing what these people think of the American people, along with that by mentioning his constituents, just who the swamp is supposed to answer to. I am sick on my stomach what I just heard.

Labrador went right to the heart of the matter: collusion—or “coordination”—between employees of the DOJ and a political party to defeat the candidate of the other political party!
MUCH WORSE THAN WATERGATE!

Rat weasel Swalwell from California is a nasty POS. He’s trying to push Rosenstein into saying Trump met with him secretly or called him on the phone to have an improper conversation. Thankfully Rosenstein pushed back and said DJT did nothing inappropriate.

Sheila Jackson Lee: “Today we have two Vietnams, side by side, north and south.”

Did she really say that?

Not only is that completely false- it's geographically impossible
