Ultimately it is low information voters of all parties who are to blame for not supporting candidates who will support and defend the Constitution.
The long view of this is that the Republic will be lost within a generation if we do not stop the attrition of young people to socialism. Government schooling and media are root causes. The media will not change.
It is also low information voters who nominate crappy candidates in the primaries who can’t win.
