holding an anchor I made for him.

Interesting......Considering that weight is a factor on those boats and whichever port they are harbored in, they're always docked when not on sea........Why would they have an anchor which would take up space in the front hull which is usually reserved for additional sails?

Don’t know I was surprised too, but I do know in that era of Americas Cup, they had to be equipped as a normal sea going vessel, hence an anchor which was correct in size for the corresponding vessel. Trust me, Fortress Anchors had also just come out at that time, and being made of aluminum, were quite a bit less in weight. I was happy to get the order and supply him, and the wall sized picture is nice too.
