Hugh Hewitt is predicting that Democrat Doug Jones will defeat Roy Moore tomorrow. I used to listen to Hewitt's radio program on a regular basis but he's gotten increasingly pretentious and he's part of the never Trump crowd. He's citing the apparent lack of Roy Moore signs in Alabama signs but isn't acknowledging that Jones is getting more financial support from the Democrat party. Jones is supported by the media while they attack Moore 24/7. Looking forward to Hewitt being proven wrong again. He said Trump should have dropped out of the race in 2016 because he couldn't win.

Good to know. Heard him a few times lately and I thought he was advocating a new tax on every UPS or Fedex package.
I live in a suburb north of Birmingham. I listen to a classic rock station in my truck. For the past month the airways have been flooded with Doug Jones political messages every time the station took a commercial break. He has also has been spending a lot on TV ads. Its probably a 10:1 ratio of Jones commercials to Moore commercials. Don’t hear too many ads for Moore. The reason being is that Moore does not have to spend much on ads. Every time the MSM opens their holes by being condescending to “dumb southerners” it makes people here even more galvanized to essentially “flip them off” by voting for Moore. Moore is going to win here tomorrow. The only variable will be is how bad of a landslide will it be. People here are still pissed off about the way the previous administration had screwed up this country. I have heard more than once somebody here say “I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world then stand with the world and be judged by God.” By the end of the week the MSM will have painted Alabamians as racist, stupid, back wood hicks that elected a child abuser. Really??? Most people here saw through all those allegations when they first put them out. NO PROOF. Dumb and back woods? I don’t think so. But let them keep thinking that because that is the way the MSM has always painted the South. We don’t care and won’t lose any sleep over it.
Yes, the Dem turnout was huge. Not a resounding victory for the Reps.
The district is solidly Republican -- Trump won the district in the general election by 27 points and 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney won the district by eight points. Estes won the Pompeo seat 53-46.
Combine this with the Fox News push poll showing an absurd 10% lead for Jones, and it’s clear the GOPe are making one last ditch desperate attempt to kneecap Moore. The GOPe has zero respect for the voters or the wishes of their party members. They want absolute control over who sits on their side of the aisle in Club 100. They have proven multiple times they prefer a Democrat over an independent Republican.
A really odd way to view the subject, as if it's his business (or anyone else's) to force me to tell him how I will vote.
If as a result, I am called a "liar", I will simply go about my business and ignore the delusionals. My default remains, when called for a political opinion, or how I will vote: "none of your damned business!" or maliciously the opposite of my intent.
I truly believe that, that was the biggest factor in the Ugly Fat, Criminal Cow losing the '16 presidential election.
I saw that this morning. I suspect that Jones’ camp needs a Hail Mary the day prior to the election. People here know that it is BS. I agree with you about the GOPe....they have sold their souls to the devil. These people don’t work for us. That is why Moore is getting so much support here. He will not be another politician Dem or Rep) that goes to DC for business as usual. Winds of change are in the air and that is why all these rats are losing it. Thanks for the comment!
