Seagulls... rats with beaks! :(
Gulls are disgusting birds will eat anything including when someone blows lunch over the side when they are sea sick.

A couple of years ago, I was driving to work and one of the fields off to the side of the road looked like it was covered with snow, with a weird whirling of snow above it. It was gulls... hundreds... thousands, maybe... a lot of gulls at any rate. This was some distance from the closest body of water that would support that many gulls, and I was marveling at the sight when my nose told me why they were there: the field had recently been sprayed with the liquid manure slurry pumped out of from one of the local dairy farm's pits. Apparently it was considered fine dining by the gull community and well worth the long flight.
I live near the ocean. We refer to them as sky rats or dump ducks.
