Jim Jordan asked a simple question: Who brought the Dossier to the FISA Court.

IMHO, that is not classified information and Wray could have and should have answered the question. But he didn’t.

My bet: Wray was playing safe on the FISA questions but will answer them in a closed session. And, since (IMHO) Jim Jordan’s question was not covered by security considerations, Wray should answer it and we should hear what his answer was.

Interesting times.

Consider me very skeptical of that happening. These oversight committees have multiple subpoenas into the DoJ/FBI for information such as this, and the DoJ/FBI continues to stonewall, closed sessions or not.

The oversight committees have also called for a new special counsel to investigate the DoJ, as well as threatened them with Contempt of Congress citations, which could even lead to actual arrests if Congress asserted itself fully as allowed by the Constitution.

But make no mistake, the DoJ is reeling right now, and is circling their wagons, with little incentive to give Congress any thing more than what is absolutely necessary. The were sitting on the Strzok thing, all this time, for example, until it somehow finally leaked to the press.
