Well, if they get paid during the “shutdown”, we can consider that severance in lieu of notice. In any event, the goal here is to reduce non-essential federal employment, which would in turn reduce non-essential spending. The details will be unpleasant, no matter how they turn out.
With all of them. Trump included. This tax bill they’re working on raises our taxes. We’re not rich. And he’ll sign it because he wants a win. They’re trying to do DACA before Christmas? And he’ll sign it. So first they raise my taxes then amnesty illegals for Christmas?

My PRIME complaint was immigration-——I don’t know if the tax deal will effect me or not——(retired,fixed income)———it all hangs for me on immigration.
I’m sick to death of reading about schools that need dozens of interpreters. I’m sick of “Press ONE for English”. They certainly didn’t do that when the early immigrants came,therefore it is NOT necessary.
