Terrible! You have to set your ultra wide monitor back up again? That must take like 4 whole seconds or so. If only it was that easy. I have an Airbook and a LG 29" UW monitor. Worked fine until the Sierra upgrade, then wouldn't scale. Took both to the Mac store, they tried a bunch of things and nothing. I ended up buying SwitchResX and found a script I had to run to make it all work. Then this last upgrade to High Sierra put me right back, and the script I used no longer works. So do you know the secret? I'm all ears.......
