I said at the time of the appointment, that the FBI needed an experienced, seasoned hard nosed agent to run the Bureau, someone on the order of Howie Safir, Ray Kelly, or Joe Arpaio. The last thing they needed was another lawyer. Wray is is one and way too inexperienced in the ways of LEO deviousness to rein herd over a bunch of wild out of control mustangs. The real problem for the President has been his lack of a trustworthy CoS to give him advice on such issues.
