Photobucket has gone nuts.

I'm looking for a new, photo-sharing website with the following attributes:

I used to use tinypic until someone started deleting my political images :-(

I stopped using them when they started deleting anything conservative..

#46 was posted w/o any html, so if you add a line break or something (in FR) you'll also need to add <a href etc> and paste the link imgur provides.

Linking to a pic hosting site is why they're in existence .. ie pic hosting sites actually reduce websites having anything to gripe about re hotlinking.
IOW, the bandwidth to show the pics/vids is being provided by the pic hosting site rather than the original source of the material.
Absent copyright issues, it's always been my understanding that bandwidth drain was always the big bone of contention re hotlinking.

Re audio, that's something you'd have to take up with JohnRob, at least re the mouse over variety.

(but i'd bet you'd open yourself to infinite flaming from startled FReepers hitting one of those links in the middle of the night and gettin' AC/DC blastin' out at 'em .. LOL  ;-)

Mouse over audio;

There was a website, Joe Cartoon, years ago that had mouse over audio on his main page. I found it very entertaining. I think he was running a Java program at the time.

Thought it would be a blast to post text/image to FR or another site that would trigger a “hosted audio” file.

Startling to be sure.

Go to imgr, Do a mouseover of your name Select 'images' in the dropdown menu click on the image you want to post here where it says HTML website/blogs, click on copy. Now you have the code on your clipboard, Paste the code into the FR "Your Reply" box, Do a preview to make sure you have the image. Post
