There isn’t really any loose bags floating around my community. No need for a clean-up. Dog poop is a bigger problem in my neighborhood. Maybe a few of those “free” bags, left in a strategic location, might go a towards a solution, instead of being blamed for a non-problem. Why are you for banning useful items? I suspect there is something that you appreciate that would be gladly banned by some zealot. Welcome to America...the home of the free...unless someone doesn’t like your plastic bags or light bulbs. GunsEqualFreedom? So do plastic bags! Wake up!

Because they were a big public nuisance...and the alternative turned out to be much easier and better. It is actually easier, more convenient to deal with groceries now. I would not go back to the old way of doing it with the cheap, wimpy free bags.
