I read about this yesterday on a comics website. Since comics are now almost exclusively the domain of liberals (and their poor sales and vanished audience reflect that), most of the commenters are whining about “cultural appropriation” and saying stupid things like “hire an asian writer to write asian characters.”
My favorite response to that was something one guy posted to the effect of “then only writers who had their parents gunned down in an alley by a mugger should write Batman.”
Or be of Kryptonian ethnicity to write Spuperman.
