Everything O’Keefe has done since Acorn seems poorly thought out and oversold. The trend began in earnest back in 2010, when Veritas Project entered the federal office of then-mayor Mary Landrieu under false pretenses. The whole thing became a debate over phone tampering. It was not well thought out. The same kind of decisions are still being made today. In a general sense, I support his intentions, so I don’t make those remarks with any pleasure.

Some part of only being minimally successful may be due to familiarity of his modus operandi.
The more capers Veritas Project does, the more familiar everyone has become with his goals, his tactics and his hires.

“The trend began in earnest back in 2010, when Veritas Project entered the federal office of then-mayor Mary Landrieu under false pretenses.”

That’s not true.
