I know a little bit of her history, and you are right. Except for a few scars on her face, I don’t think she was ever abused.
I have had her for a year and she’s a treasure.
She’s 7 and a half, so I think we will have a good long time together.
It’s nice to see she has all of her tail. Another indication of a Pit having been abused is a docked tail. Cutting off the ears and tail makes it easier for the dog to be used for fighting because there’s less for other dogs to grab on to. May you both have a long and happy life together. Now I’ve got to get dressed and perpetrate and ACT OF DOG ABUSE by ousting my AST cross from what used to be my bed and putting him outside to do his business.
