While Dan Mullen may be arriving in Gainesville, Jimbo Fisher could be departing Tallahassee. A Houston TV news director reported on Sunday that Fisher has agreed to a contract with Texas A&M to replace Kevin Sumlin, who was fired on Sunday.

So many coaches fired at major schools, I’d wondered how the schools could find replacements with some potential to improve the programs. Looks like musical chairs to fill some, and others will probably be hard pressed to find viable new coaches. Opportunites for lower division winners.

There was a rumor that Nebraska flew Frost to Lincoln a week or so ago and he and Moos met on the plane. There’s a good article about Frost’s love/hate relationship with Nebraska. The rumor is 7 years/$35 million. Not too many people would get that kind of commitment.

Agreed. Nebraska isn’t a top tier job. FSU has more potential and year round golfing.

I heard Jon Gruden will be the next Tennessee coach. Been hearing that for years.

Nebraska was good, when basically it was just them and Oklahoma battling it out every year in the Big 8.
Now, in the Big Ten: it’s Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, etc.
