I remember seeing a shower in a magazine fifty years ago. Glass doors, rock walls just like an outdoor cliff pool. It really looked nice.
So I says to myself, HOW will they clean the soap scum buildup off the rocks?
I’ll take an old fashioned shower any day.
My tile installer taught me to have a hand shower so that I could wash down all the walls after showering. But he also said to squeegee the walls and wipe them with a white towel, and those two things you couldn’t do with the rocks. The tile sealer for the art tiles instructed me to wash them and dry them thoroughly after a shower and I get no buildup. I just have to put aside an extra 15 min for shower cleaning each time.
