And sitting there drinking your coffee or tea in the morning and just relaxing. I chose a counter stovetop and use the area under for storage. Prefer a wall oven because I don’t lean over. The problem in that kitchen is losing another piece of counter space or a window. I suppose it would have to be the counter to the right, which is probably next to the refrigerator.

Yes! I really love all the windows in that kitchen. I love lots of natural light in a house period.

I have lower back issues so bending over to lift a heavy items like a big pan of lasagna or a roasted turkey out of the oven is an issue for me. I was until recently living at my nephew’s house and he and his wife, who is an amazing cook and baker, upgraded their electric stove to a gas range with a griddle in the middle and two ovens below. It was a great improvement but getting anything out of, especially the lower oven was a real problem for me on the occasions when I cooked or baked for them.

But my ultimate dream kitchen would also have a convenient butler’s pantry therefore having more storage space and making more room for a double wall oven without sacrificing cabinet or counter space, a place to also store counter top appliances and other items not needed every day and keeping the kitchen more clutter free. I’d also have a deep freezer and a small extra fridge in the garage.

I can only dream….
