I’m much more optimistic. If you look at who is having large families in our society, if tends to be those with firm religious beliefs. The same folks who are going to categorically reject most of the Malthusian views that permeate the popular “culture.”
Today’s parents who plan and act appropriately will have plenty of grandchildren. Those who remain in thrall to the more ridiculous ideas circulating about won’t.
Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.
Be optimistic all you want but that is not going to change the math. We (Americans) are being invaded and out bred at a rate that will see our nation unrecognizable in a matter of a few decades. It's like the Texas sized asteroid in Armageddon headed straight at the USA. Being optimistic is fine but it will do nothing to prevent or even delay impact.

But in today’s lifestyle, you play it or it plays you. You can’t do, say, or act on anything without big brother looking over your shoulder making sure you’re playing by their rules. They make the rules and they can punish you for not playing correctly. Win/win for them.
