That is an AMAZING choice. Balanced. Clean. Elegant. Minimalist.

I’m not familiar with Charda’s but we used to go frequently to Café Budapest in the Copley square area——long gone,I’m afraid.

Chilled cherry soup sounda delicious.

I’m now going to have some leftover turkey, stuffing, and gravy———(I’m always given a doggy bag).

It would be better than anything in the Modern side of that museum.

It's even more entertaining when panoramic pictures fail.

I vividly remember a painting from my childhood of black on black. Now I’d say let’s examine it for textures. Then I just thought they were crazy. Most of the modern stuff I’d agree with you. But I do remember a few that blew me away. My mother and I both studied in Lorado Taft’s studio in Chicago, grandmother studied WITH Taft, so I’m very partial to their Taft sculptures. Basically turn of the last century.

No, I’m one of those “CAD draftsman” that you seem to look down upon. I’ve done drafting work for 45 years, started way before CAD, and there is always some professionals that look down on draftsman.

Dream of Tuscany, the first one. Lake Windamere, if it’s not photo-edited. Peter’s Death Valley shot. Tellaro, Italy shot with waves. Those are the ones showing true composition skill, timing, evaluation of lighting and sheer effort. Huber’s photograph is marred by the vehicles.

We(my family) hired many draftsmen, old school on the boards. That was a different time, on the flor beneath my main office is a drafting office with 16 boards, and that wasn’t the only drafting office in the company. I have tons of old prints(obsolete) and the hand drawing detail is so impressive.

Wonderful variety in your choices. I skimmed over some the first time and you've made me go back and re-evaluate these. They are magnificent. Thank you!

I had to look that up. One return was in Cohasset. I’m just starting a new project to put up menus from restaurants now gone and recently sorted the one from Hugo’s into a pile. If you’re from that area, do you remember the place?
