To: Colonel Kangaroo

I used to watch NBA basketball in the era of Larry Bird but tuned out when it became mostly slam-dunks and trash-talking. I always liked the three-pointers and hook shots but those don’t seem to happen as much anymore. I hate slam-dunking.

Actually, the three (relic imported from the ABA) has damaged the game almost as much as the dunk.

It promotes extreme specialization, even by big men; the low post game is mostly passe.

Move a three addict in (or out) two feet from the line, and watch for the airballs.

I am relieved that I no longer care, and no longer watch: I am fed up with overpaid children who preach political correctness to me.
