>>I did read that an intel component of the military has the both the right and the ability to investigate at the same level as all of the other intel entities. And, that perhaps this is one method that is in play to put Mueller in a box.

When I read this, I felt a glimmer of hope that General Kelly may be working with his trusted sources inside the military.

I share your glimmer of hope, as this sounds like the only credible and plausible strategy I’ve heard thus far. Thanks for posting it.

I think that this may explain why Trump has been so silent, if this is so

Given what I read, I did a bit of research. I truly hope that Trump can carve out his own path via Kelly and Mattis

So, Mattis, a Trump appointee heads up the DOD.

The intelligence branch....the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) is headed up by an Obama appointee.......Vincent R. Stewart ....his credentials are noteworthy

From wiki: (born 1958) is a lieutenant general in the United States Marine Corps who is currently serving as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

From wiki:

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is an external intelligence service of the United States federal government specializing in defense and military intelligence.

A component of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the United States Intelligence Community (IC), DIA informs national civilian and defense policymakers about the military intentions and capabilities of foreign governments and non-state actors. It also provides intelligence assistance, integration and coordination across uniformed military service intelligence components, which remain structurally separate from DIA.[4] The agency’s role encompasses the collection and analysis of military-related foreign political, economic, industrial, geographic, and medical and health intelligence.[5] DIA produces approximately one-fourth of all intelligence content that goes into the President’s Daily Brief.

Let’s keep an eye on what does or does not transpire with Lt. Gen.Stewart
