This is one of those unusual stories that I just can’t follow. There are so many loose ends, all tied to who knows what? I know we are attempting to now do business with the Saudis. Have they acknowledged sending the 9/11 terrorists over here? Have they condemned that in any way, even via fake condemnation? I have not heard this to be the case.

I guess we have a choice to either back the Saudis or Iran.
Iran pretty much owns Syria now. Syria is being supported, protected and emptied of ISIS by the Russians. I think.
I’ll read the comments here and maybe learn something.

KSA is centralizing rule and removing the oligarchs who been interfering in American elections, supporting terrorism, and generally running without accountability. This is likely the result of Trump giving them the green light to clean up the country. This should turn KSA into a soild US ally.

If the stories are correct....roughly thirty being held....billions likely to be confiscated from them....torture, etc....then I’d suggest the following.

Relatives of those being held will seek to move their cash way outside of the Kingdom. For the Saudi government, they may think this effort will help fund the government but it’ll create a shortfall in investment funds over the next five years.

Second, relatives will probably go and fund ISIS to come into the Kingdom and start up a civil war. The Kingdom is NOT prepared for this, and would literally have to go and beg Trump for assistance. Trump would say give them a quote....probably a billion per week, to get US troops.

Finally, if ISIS did achieve the war status...what happens to gas prices? Massive escalation. Iran would get a chance to really pump oil hard and fast.
