I'm not arguing with you, at all. I just think the world is way too superficial to begin with, and I think that being strong in character, with ethics and a willingness to put your life on the line for what is right, is the most pertinent and real type of ‘being tough’, not the stereotypical ‘bad boy’ image.

Everything you said is true and I agree. But this quote is what I was talking about. Superficial young women are not uncommon and this isn’t a new thing. Bad boys are not necessarily mobsters or gang bangers. They are usually just dumbasses who can convince superficial young women that they are exciting and more dangerous than the young woman thinks her dad would accept. Nothing is based on reality in this girl’s fantasy. It’s all the perception of a superficial young woman.
