> Enroll your daughter in a self-defense class and have her discourage the bullies when no teachers are looking.
Excellent advice.
We did that for our daughter (3rd grade) was being beat up regularly by three 6th grade boys.
4 months later these same three 6th grade boys decided to attack her again. One lost his front 2 teeth, one suffered a broken finger and the third took a kick to the face that broke his nose.
She was never picked on ever again by anyone.
We just finished putting my 6 y.o. grandson through a year of karate lessons. And yes, we got called to the school when when he jumped up and kicked some muslim kid in the mouth while in class; all because the kid was repeatedly punching him in the throat. The school officials were upset because there was a lot of blood after the kid bit his tongue as a result of the kick.
Our daughter came home with teeth marks on her back. The school solution was to put her in d-hall because I raised a stink because next time I was going to allow her to fight back. Schools don’t seem to grasp the fact that children, not just adults are lawfully allowed to defend themselves.
