It’s not up to the owner. All player contracts need to follow the CBA, all termination language is in the CBA, the players union has to AGREE to those terms. Life with a union.
If I was an owner I would begin divesting my asset.

Definitely for long. The fact of the matter is EVERYBODY is suffering from ratings problems and even with the drop the NFL’s are still higher than anybody else’s. What’s really happened here is that they finally started taking the same hit everybody else was. Everybody else’s drop started about 5 years ago, the NFL has enough momentum they managed to avoid it for the first few years. But the drop looks to have leveled off, and the NFL is still the top of the heap.
Why run to insults? Just proves you’re out of facts. Which means you’re out of reasons for me to pay attention to you. Goodbye, you lost.

I didn’t insult you at all. Facts are facts and the facts are you’re wrong and you show a complete lack of understanding the most basic concepts like how CBAs work, guaranteed revenue, and who actually can do what.
