This is just the sort of thing the radical Islamists want, something they can convince the illiterate millions who have flooded into Europe is the first step in outlawing Islam and turn into mob action and more terror.

The only way the French can make this work is if they're ready to shoot entire mobs who resist the order, just like an IzLameIck dictator would because that's all the ignorant, dim witted, "faithful", understand; brute force & the will to use it.
