Now if I could only convince husband to let me work on the living room. Thank you, orange. It was a labor of love. Doubt I’ll ever design another room beyond what we’ve done, but it was such joy. I’ve made so many mistakes over the decades experimenting. I tried stripping the insulation off a heating pipe going to the 2nd floor and then putting in high and low vents to let the air into the dining room. Worked just like you’d expect. Made the 2nd floor colder. Then I put a fan behind the radiator in the dining room and closed it in with rattan. Only the fan was so powerful that it only pushed out cold air. And the rattan needed to be sprayed with water every day so it wouldn’t dry out. But it’s all been fun.
