This looks pretty good. I’ll probably check it out.
Just saw the previews last night and saved it to my list
Looks good, I miss Deadwood.
Im always down for a good western. I still think Deadwood from HBO was one of the best series ever.
The trailer suggests a lesbian’s twisted view of fantasizing female empowerment(IMO).
Me, too. I loved Deadwood. This goes on my List, but it looks a lot like a chick flick.
What feminist nonsense is this!
I stopped watching “Deadwood” after all the gratuitous cursing and foul language, and doubt I could take a re-try.
Yeah, but they cursed with an extraordinary command of the language. You needed a thesaurus to understand what they were saying, which was educational at least. LOL
Sorry, looks like it’s about as accurate to the West is Top Gun was to Naval Aviation...
I remember picking up a Cowboy novel back in the 60’s, and blushing at the constant foul language. I’m not sure it’s because people really talked that way, way back then, or the novelist wanted readers to think they did.
Lesbian all woman fantasy town is an “old fashioned western”???
So far, my favorite western is FIrefly.
A town only populated by women?
What feminist nonsense is this!
Not that it is, but just sayin’. ;-)
I don’t always have the cleanest mouth, shame on me, but gratuitous language in films/TV just turns me off. Same with nudity and sex. Grossly graphic and frequently sadistic violence is the biggest turnoff of all for me. A coworker showed me a few scenes from Game of Thrones and the horrible graphic violence is to me simply unneccesary — I’m no shrinking violet and I’m fine with some violence as necessary to the plot, but uber-realistic portrayals of shrieking burning and skinning and disembowelment kind of discourage me.
“The trailer suggests a lesbians twisted view of fantasizing female empowerment(IMO).”
True...but at least they support the 2nd amendment, it seems.

Lovely factoids from the last half of the 19th Century in the US West.
Over 1,000 women per 100,000 died in childbirth. Most women had children between the ages of 14 and 28 years old, and as many as they could, often 6-8 per family.
Average life expectancy of males was 40 years, 42 for females.
Disease was rampant in the Old West: smallpox, polio, dysentery, whooping cough, measles, scarlet fever, tuberculosis, pneumonia, cholera, typhus, typhoid fever, and influenza. Infant mortality was often as high as 50%.
