I remember when Black music was very cool ,, 60s , 70s and even before . Rap is not music ,, it’s basically talking to almost the same beat in every song . Just about any body can do it , it’s real easy , no real skill involved and that’s why young minds of mush like it ,, ya don’t have to work hard to perfect it .

He was always evolving and growing musically and definately worked at the lyrics. Some were quite clever, some stupid but there is always a fine line there I suppose. RIP.
