Hosery is a huge fashion no no these days. My teenage daughters just about die when I wear nylons to church. My mom has a friend whose well to do daughter begged her not to wear nylons to her wedding.

I thought the same thing when I moved to DC 25 years ago...had never seen business women NOT wear hose. Then I experienced my first DC summer...dumped them and never looked back. Now that I'm an old lady, I work hard to my gams in shape so I don't have to start wearing them again!

In the winter, we often opt for thick tights under dresses or leggings with boots. Much more comfortable.

Hose are just gross! Women here just don't wear them.

It never fails that someone on here says...put on hose/nylons. NO ONE wears them any more and haven’t in over 20 years!
