What the Soviets said about the Kennedy assassination for propaganda purposes, and what informed observers thought about it are not the same as what actually happened that day in Dallas — and there are enough loose ends, disputed facts, and peculiar circumstances to suggest conspiracy. Most notably, Robert Kennedy was convinced within days that Lyndon Johnson had his brother killed with the assistance of rogue CIA operatives.

You commented: “Most notably, Robert Kennedy was convinced within days that Lyndon Johnson had his brother killed with the assistance of rogue CIA operatives.”

Which is the line the Soviets pushed beginning within 24 hours of JFK’s assassination. Oswald was a communist and even his former USMC unit members knew that. That however doesn’t mean, to me, that he was working on orders from the KGB.
