The state is requesting at least an hour to close. The judge has not decided how long he will give the attorneys for summations.
The court is mindful that Friday is a county holiday and the courthouse will be closed.
We have just seen previously withheld video show up in the third Bundy trial. Which means that the first two trials will likely be overturned and redone or dropped.
I’m willing to bet we will see that happen here as all this continues to play out.

While reading Tommy Witherspoon’s live tweets of Carrizal’s trial it occurred to me that there’s not much difference between biker club rivalries and sports team rivalries (e.g., fans wearing team gear stealing another team’s mascot).
Fans of one sports team clashing (felony battery) with those of another team at, say, a tailgate party could also be indicted for “organized criminal activity” under Texas law. That law really needs to be re-worked to only apply to those who are clearly, mindfully, and actively conspiring to commit felonies.
