Here's what I think most people are missing in all this (including Rush, who I'm listening to at this very moment.) First, Democrats once again seem hell bent on electing the "first" of some special cut-out group of theirs to a prominent office. In this case, the Democrats managed to get a transsexual (born & a genetic male, "identifies as a woman") to office. They think they're proving a point somehow and using this specific case as a repudiation of not only President Trump, anyone who agrees with him/voted for him too.

Second - This isn't even a mid-term election. It's a special election and for all intents and purposes a one-off that doesn't mean jack shit. It's freaking Virginia for crying out loud, a blue state with a well organized Democrat machine that has zero issues in fomenting vote fraud.

Third, Virginia is the "home of the swamp." How many Never Trumpers from both political parties that infest our Government live there and gladly voted for the transsexual as a slap at President Trump?

C'mon folks, this is a non-event. The mid-terms are going to be a completely different story than this. The fact that not a single polling organization would predict Gillespie to win despite showing him as the leader going into yesterday I think speaks volumes.

None of the pollsters know how to gauge the electorate anymore and one state, Virginia does not a trend make. If the Democrats want to believe it does, I say we let them believe that all the way up to the mid-term elections next November.

Rather than anti-trans, I thought the so called bathroom bills were to protect female users of Women’s rooms from package carrying or neutered males who for whatever reason want to have access to women’s restrooms.
