If the workers don’t like it, work for somebody else. Chances are they’re getting paid time-and-a-half. If working for Amazon is really that bad, they’ll have a lot of employee turnover and many employees who are working there for Thanksgiving this year won’t be working there next year as a vote of their own free will.
Bezos is an ass but why pay $8 for a product locally when I can buy the exact same thing, delivered the next day, for $3.49 total, from Amazon.
Chances are they’re getting double time for T-Day :-)

Only if they are working over 40 hours for the week, I’m sure. Holidays don’t carry extra pay. You may get to double dip (holiday off pay plus your regular day pay).
We are discovering that many items on Amazon can be had somewhere else for far less.
It behooves people to shop around on the internet.
That said, we won’t be buying anything anywhere on Thanksgiving Day.
