Maybe it was a playoff game on another channel before the WS on Fox.My impression is that his story (somewhat abridged because it was being told during the game action) was on FS1, during the ALDS or the ALCS. I didn't see all of the World Series coverage on Fox and FS1 (extended postgame shows, for example) and can't say if it was mentioned in that time.
Well, it seems they may have downplayed it sadly because as someone surmised,
they might have omitted it intentionally because the story goes against the “white privilege” meme. Only black people are aggrieved or sumthin’ Sadly, I can't rule that out.
