Earlier this summer, my wife, great niece and I went on a tour of Crystal Cave in Western Wisconsin.
Very cool place. Very interesting tour.
The guide told us about the various bats that live in the cave and told us about white nose syndrome. I didn’t know that much about it.
Though not an environmentalist, I believe that curing that disease is something we ought to look into. Bats do (as someone posted below) eat more than their weight in mosquitos.
