Yes, you are right. They killed drug-dealing, murdering motorcycle gang members who were actively shooting other drug-dealing, murdering motorcycle gang members, and the drug-dealing, murdering motorcycle gang member’s bullets were barely missing families there for a quiet Sunday.
Cops shot active shooters. Problem with that?
Yes, I do have a problem with intentionally executing them in a fish bowl. Yes, I do have a problem with them being set up. Yes, I do have a problem with liars like Sgt. Swanson. Yes, I do have a problem with FReepers being called drug dealers.
The first guy that LE shot was leaning against the patio railing with his hands in his pockets. Lab techs have identified which particular .223 was used to shoot the man right in the face.
Beyond the four that lab techs have verified that were shot by LE, there is yet one more man who was shot in the back of one thigh -- and who had been shot twice previously, and that last (the third) entry wound large, and ill-shaped ragged-like which could coincide with a .223 round keyholing (going in sideways) due to having stuck some object prior to penetrating the back of the man's leg. It was that last shot that severed an artery causing the man to bleed to death. When shot the third time that man was moving away, noticeably limping away from other fighting that was going on, appearing to be trying to separate himself.

See the chain? that's all the man had (he had no gun, and was not a shooter) and he may have begun swinging it to keep attackers off himself only after he had been shot once, then a second time ---prior to a third shot figuratively 'dropping' him at the base of that pole he was moving toward. It's possible a .223 round glanced off the chain (if not something yet else) turned sideways, then entered his leg -- exiting out the front side due to not striking bone or being otherwise stopped.
Whatever bullet entered last, it left a large, elongated gouge of an entry wound (instead of a round hole) before exiting somewhere out the front ---to be never recovered, despite all the fine-tooth comb metal detecting searching that LE spent the better part of a week or more at conducting.
So --there is one at least who was not a shooter (the one who was shot in the chin with a .223 while leaning against the patio railing with his hands in his pockets) and possibly this other man also who was not a shooter who would a be fifth overall that LE shot (either on purpose, or accidentally -- having missed some other target) and possibly one of at least two who were not as you say; "actively shooting" .
That there is at least one who police killed outright who was not a shooter -- renders your claim that police shot only those who were "actively shooting" to be error, if not deliberate lie on your part.
Personally, if you're not a FED come here to FR to try to steer public sentiments ---then it must be that you're just lazy (too lazy to search out, and take note of anything that would challenge your own personal biases) and sloppy when it comes to stating actual facts, yourself relying on intimidation to try to get people to believe things that are just not *quite* true -- but need to be -- or else you'd need apologize (or else admit to yourself that the Agency you may be working for is made up a lie-telling shit-heels who themselves have blood of innocents on their hands -- like the blood of Geoffrey Brady, among others).
Interestingly enough, the prosecution rested it's case against Carrizal without bringing any of those "families" to the witness stand.
One would think if bullets were "barely missing" "families", then multiple family members of multiple families (you did use plural sense) would, or at least could have been called to testify. If not called to testify, but had provided statements to law enforcement (or else directly to the DA's Office) then these "families" would be (should be, anyway) on a list of potential witnesses who may even have information that could exonerate a particular defendant, or defendants, thus under both Brady vs. Maryland and the Morton Act would need have their identities and whatever statements they had given to LE provided to the various (and many!) defense attorneys.
So far, the only talk about "families" has come from LE color commentator types who can't establish that particular claim. Guys like -- Swanton...and apologists for guys like Swanton and Reyna who turn immediately to insulting freepers here (calling them "gang members", and worse) whenever people around here call them out for their b.s.
When I saw the headline of this latest article -- I KNEW it would draw you out.
I've been a freeper for many many years. I have seen 'em come, and I've seen 'em go...
The one known to us here as 'Strac6' is quite possibly a Federal Agent.
His sign-up date, and his initial postings on this 'Waco, Twin Peaks biker' subject matter fit with being a Federal (or possibly even only State) agent of some type who has personal interest in the legal process bringing pressure to bear on the 155 154 indicted (one has died after having been indicted) to beg for some form of plea bargain rather than risk being convicted (rightly, and more to the point -- wrongly convicted) and thus face possibly life sentence.
