If you ever go to St. Petersburg, FL, check out the Vinoy in downtown.
This hotel was almost demolished. It is incredibly beautiful.

Another one in St. Pete is the Don Cesar (on the beach). Both the Don and the Vinoy have been restored with their 1920 history honored. You don't even have to stay there, just walk through them.
