Given some recent box numbers that is a good showing

That is excellent. I so wanted to go. I have little kids and elderly in my care and the nearest theater was one hour away so I could not. Everyone needs to spend their entertainment dollars on stuff like this.

IIRC it only showed on about 200 screens.
That's a very limited distribution by any standards.

Imagine that. Tell Americans you hate them and they actually won’t go see your crappy movies. Go figure.
NFL should take note.

The closest theater to me in the DC area is a 45 minute drive down I-66 on a good day.
I’ll wait for Pay-Per-View.

“IIRC it only showed on about 200 screens.”
Only 373 screens! Compared to every other movie north of that is 2 million plus!

Going to see it tomorrow night. Dinner and a movie 🎥 no Halloween in this house. The problem is the boatload of south of the border types that show up in minivans. We use to buy so much candy. It was no fun anymore. Just older teens and a lot of young adults with bags and a lot in no costume, running crazy.

I wanted to go also. I wanted to take my new beautiful South Korean girlfriend to this movie.
She wants to convert from Presbyterian to Catholic - go figure (lifelong Catholic here, but with reservations).
The movie is not nearby, so we’ll see The Foreigner instead. Our work schedules aren’t conducive to driving an hour to see a movie.
Hopefully next week, Sean’s movie will be playing at more theaters!

I found this on one of the links above:
Suburbicon, which debuted on 2,045 screens, notched one of the most dismal wide-release debuts in recent years. It earned just $2.8 million at the box office, ...
That makes the business of “Let There Be Light” truly inspirational.

We get lots of out-of-neighborhood families driving in, too. But they are always polite, courteous, and appreciative. The little ones are so fun to watch. I used to mind, but its bringing joy to them so its ok with me.

Ill wait for Pay-Per-View. ........ I’ll wait for YouTube. Then again, why would I watch it?
