Or to ignore it. That’s what people really mean when they say it has gotten more evil. Bad people used to pretend to be good people to fit in. Now, they don’t. The culture demands that we accept every sin and deviance as normal, and they are disgusting enough, culture demands that we celebrate it.
In the US, Christian culture and morality used to be the norm. Now, the depraved Natural Man is the norm and Christian morality is ridiculed.
So, yes, the world is more evil because the evil can flourish in the light of day now.
