Having said that, of course, private entities are perfectly within their rights to require such behavior from their employees as a condition of employment, which is what the NBA does, for instance, and which is also a regulation in the NFL, too, if I'm not mistaken.

This debate is so absurd, of course, because no company can ever be required to allow their employees to engage in behavior which drives away customers and thereby causes the company to lose money.

The fact that NFL players suddenly think they're entitled to do this is a testimony to the ridiculous point which we have reached with regard to political correctness and the injection politics into every aspect of American life—even forms of entertainment which exist precisely to let the People get away from such divisiveness.

The NFL players who are protesting the anthem are, by and large, expressing their opposition to the Donald J. Trump, our duly elected President, and, of course, the Left-wing Media is doing everything it can to keep this fight going.

The People can see all of this, and that's why the NFL alienating fans in droves. Ultimately, moving forward, the consequences of this fan alienation—the loss of fans and revenue—will be reflected in lower average salaries for players, and the potential demise of the league itself.

If ownership and management don't undertake strong measures to curtail this ridiculous behavior, they deserve to face the ramifications of their cowardice...

It has much to do with most of players never having a real job. Many have no concept of a boss, a working environment, or consequences for their actions.

The loudest voice gets heard, evidently. I’m yelling.
