Kate Beckinsale was another. She apparently refused numerous advances by Weinstein, and still made it big in the movies. Weinstein was quoted by someone as saying “Kate lives to say ‘no’ to me.”
Yes, I’m not buying the premise of this vanity piece. I think Angelina Jolie has talked about it as well. Of course, most of these “stars” are obscure to me. I stopped calling actresses “stars” when Sophia Loren retired.
When you're that gorgeous you don't need Harvey Weinstein or anyone else...
These actresses should have been more like Kate, it seems.
