If you want to watch movies, you have to divorce yourself from the personal life of the actor on screen. I understand that people who have never been in the industry don’t get that but it’s the truth.

Well I pretty much stopped watching any new movies or TV shows coming out from Hollywood, because I got tired of all of their faux moralizing.

I suppose you're right. The same is true of all art and everything else I suppose. Wagner was a monster, but I have to forget that when I listen to Tristan und Isolde or Tannhäuser. And it's true that few people if any are without faults. Mother Teresa said that she decided to go to Calcutta when she looked inside herself and saw a Hitler lurking there.

I understand about separating an actor/actress’s performance from the actor as a person.
I used to be able to do that but I can’t anymore. Hollywood and Broadway have become so leftard fascist and hateful to someone like me, I can’t stand it anymore. I will not spend twenty five cents if it might line the pockets of Ashley Judd, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, etc. (my list of celebrities that I boycott is quite long).
