What time would it have been where the call was received? The night shift, maybe they celebrate Thanksgiving too.

London is 6 hours ahead of Dallas and they don't have Thanksgiving in Britain.

It may not be a legal holiday in the UK but I have a very close female friend who has family over there and they celebrate the holiday every year. It’s actually very popular over there.
