1st bullet hit the traffic signal arm and then hit a curb with pieces of the curb and/or bullet injuring a bystander in the cheek, second hit Kennedy in the upper back/neck area and then hit Connelly and the third bullet was the fatal head shot.

Yes, additionally, Connolly’s front seat in the limo was something like 6 to 12 inches lower than JFK’s back seat in the limo, the back seat had been built up for JFK and his wife so the crowds could see them a little bit better through the windows. The difference in seat heights helps explain how the bullets travelled through JFK and Connolly.

It was a bad last minute decision by the SS to put the limousine top down, that was not what they normally allowed. Again, bad judgement, incompetence by the SS. They had much to atone for.
