Koehn would be typical pronunciation. Likely in German it would have an umlaut and sound something like kerhn. Looking at the guy, I wonder if it’s a stolen identity.

Likely a German name, but some parts of Germany are now parts of other countries and the genetic makeup of Central and Eastern Europe is a mixed bag, anyway. And there is what we in my family call the 'tanning gene' that is common among people of German descent. My mother had it, a couple of my daughters have it. Some people just tan well. I always burn at first, but my daughters just get good tans. It may be an artifact of the Mongol invasion of Central Europe that got into Poland, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech territory and assorted other places. I knew a Hungarian girl that had the tanning gene, too. You can see the Mongol influence in Eastern Europe, it's pretty evident. So, the guy actually could have a lot of German in him, but names don't really say much in America any more. He could have that one German ancestor and be almost anything else.

Regardless of his ancestral origins, he's probably just another scumbag undeserving of the right to reproduce.
