I was visiting a plant once to train them how to use our product. A guy in the next building sliced off a finger. I pulled the safety guy aside and told him it might be a good idea to properly label our chemicals he was using since I had a funny idea the place was going to be crawling with OSHA the next day.
My company had two bad accidents in the span of a month. One resulted in a broken back and the other a death. In both cases the employees failed to observe established safety protocals........The death was the result of failing to lock out an overhead crane and the electrician was crushed against a wall by it when the operator activated it and didn’t see him.
