I don’t know of anyone who says Bo-log-na, and not Ba-lo-ney.
Sort of like the word for Catsup vs Ketchup.
NOBODY says Cats-up. You would get some funny looks.

I say Catsup. That's how my family said it. We also called Bologna Baloney, but today, I call it Mortadella.

By the way, I have only eaten one meal in Bologna--in December, 1961--and it wasn't Baloney. It was green ravioli.
