When narcissists cry, it’s about themselves. Maybe Obama shed a tear over realizing he is more than half way to 60. It doesn’t appear that aging is his favorite thing. He got so unsettled over turning 50 that he revealed his actual birthdate—third week of July.
When Obama was elected he was the “hip, young president.” Now Trump is taking a bulldozer to Obama’s legacy, and O is staring at the inexorable approach of 60. Those tears may have been real.
Could be he’s already past 60. A few years ago, he said he was 57. Of course, he didn’t know his daughters’ birthdays even though Malia’s is supposed to conveniently be the 4th of July.
