You know the contract between BOR and Lis Weihl or whomever doesn’t come right out and state “here’s $32 million in exchance for keeping your mouth shut about BOR sexually harrasing you which he never did”. To threaten someone for money in exchange for silence is extortion, so of course no one did that, which means the contract is probably based on “performance bonuses” or “consulting fees”, something that you’d learn nothing about the nature of the alleged abuse from. The whole deal is based on an “understanding” that the silence would be maintained.
